[content title="About the author"]Peter C. Morris, 75, died on June 11, 2022, at Hawthorne House Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Freeport.
Peter was born in Bridgton on January 31, 1947, delivered by his grandfather, Dr. Irving E. Mabry. He was the eldest son of Charles P. Morris and Ellen T. (Mabry) Morris of Bridgton. He grew up in Bridgton, and went to local schools. As a boy, he enjoyed swimming and boating on Highland Lake, baseball and model rockets. He also developed a lifelong love of reading and literature.
