[content title="About the author"]Aleksandra Kostic D was born in Belgrade, Serbia (ex-Yugoslavia) in 1970. She lives and works in Australia since 2012. Aleksandra completed their bachelor’s in 1997. and master’s degree in Fine Arts in 2002. on the University of Arts in Belgrade. She works across several different mediums incorporating installations, paintings, drawings, video works and mixed mediums in her practice. Since 1994, she has exhibited her work regularly. Her works explore a range of ideas about women’s emotional life, anxiety and mental health, same as our relationship with sacred geometry in nature, our ways of knowing and perceiving the divine in the environment. Her expressionistic approach to the work describes her as an intuitive artist who is willing to directly expose her creative energy.
