[content title="Description"]Arguments based in doctrine and scripture over the inclusion of homosexual people within Christian congregations and sacraments have done little to persuade the faithful on either side of this debate. Hate is the Sin: Putting Faces on the Debate over Human Sexuality approaches this divisive subject through portraits of the faith of gay and lesbian persons, presents both sides of the controversy, revealing how preformed opinions shape widely divergent interpretations of biblical and theological issues.

[content title="About the author"]John S. Munday
I am an intellectual property attorney as well as a writer. I have a Chemical Engineering degree, Juris Doctor of Law degree, and a Master of Theology degree. I am married, have three children and two step-children, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The major focus of my writing as an author of books and essays has been on the effect murder has on families of the victims. My book, Justice For Marlys (University of Minnesota Press, 2004, paper 2006), tells the story of the murder of Marlys Ann Wohlenhaus, the older daughter of my wife, Frances Wohlenhaus-Munday.
